Top San Francisco salons have partnered to celebrate the life of Vidal Sassoon, one of the hair industries most influential and innovative artists, with charity event – VS85.
This first annual event will host guests on Vidal Sassoon’s birthday: Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 7pm – 11pm at the historic Green Room in San Francisco. VS85 guests will enjoy good food, good drinks, good music and a showcase of what Vidal Sassoon lived and breathed: Great Hairstyles. The Green Room will provide the backdrop for a runway show of models wearing wigs of Vidal Sassoon inspired hairstyles which will also be up for auction. In addition, the event will have live artists and fun, inspiring activities for all to enjoy.
VS85 will raise donations and awareness to Project Open Hand, a San Francisco non-profit that provides meals and groceries for people living with HIV/AIDS, homebound critical illnesses and seniors in San Francisco County. As a local organization that has been providing services for over 27 years, Project Open Hand is the perfect partner and beneficiary to spotlight through this event.
Join us in celebrating the life of legendary artist, Vidal Sassoon while raising funds and awareness for Project Open Hand on January 17th, 2013!
